SERVICES YOU’LL LEARN:

  • hair coloring (balayage, highlights, color theory, color correction, color blocking, retouching etc.)

  • hair cutting (men’s, women’s, kids’)

  • hair styling (all textures): roller sets, thermal ironing

  • chemical waving/straightening

  • braiding (all textures)

  • extensions (micro beads, tape-in, sew-in)

  • skin care (basic facials)

  • nail care (basic manicure, pedicure, acrylic)

  • makeup

  • waxing

  • brow lamination, lash lift, brow/lash tinting, lash extensions

WHAT’S IN THE KIT:

 

  • 3 doll heads

  • brushes, combs, clips

  • thermal curling iron, flat iron, blow dry

  • sheers, razors

  • color kit (bowl, brush, apron, cape + color bar available in
    school)

  • OFRA makeup kit (foundations, lipsticks, correctors, eyeshadows, blushes, highlighters, brush kit, mascara, primer, brow pencils, eyeliner)

PROGRAM FORMAT

The Cosmetology program curriculum consists of thousand (1000) hours combined technical instruction and practical training. Technical instruction is delivered through a blend of demonstrations, lectures, interactive classroom participation, and written examinations. Practical training involves the hands-on execution of complete cosmetology services, performed by students on either live models or mannequins, ensuring a well-rounded and industry-relevant educational experience. 

EDUCATIONAL GOALS

Our primary goals are to provide a quality educational system that prepares students to pass the State Board examination and gain employment within their chosen field of study.

​PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Our Cosmetology program is designed to provide students wit ha comprehensive education that prepares them for licensure and success in the beauty industry. The key objectives of the program include: 

  • Delivering in-depth instruction and practical training in the principles and techniques of cosmetology, enabling students to successfully complete the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licensing examination.​​

  • Equipping students with hands-on skills in core areas such as haircutting, hairstyling, hair coloring, skincare, makeup application, and manicuring.

  • Fostering professional habits and technical proficiency, emphasizing attention to detail, efficiency, and excellence in all aspects of cosmetology services.

​

  • Instilling a strong foundation in health, safety, and sanitation practices to ensure the well-being of both clients and practitioners.

​

  • ​Promoting ethical conduct and professional behavior, encouraging positive collaboration between employers, employees, and clients, while upholding the highest standards of personal integrity.

​

  • Introducing students to the principles of business operations relevant to the cosmetology field, including customer service, salon management, and entrepreneurship.

​

  • Evaluating program success through measurable outcomes such as course completion rates, state licensure attainment, and job placement within the industry.
